6.)
This was my Sketch of the poster idea I had in mind.
I created a sketch of one of the characters to be in the poster. This gave me a visual idea of where I wanted to have the character positioned.
I used this shirt for the character's appearance in the sketch to suit his characteristics.
After sketching one of the characters in the film, I decided to have real people to add in the poster instead of having cartoon characters.

7.)
These were the photo's I had taken to add into the poster.
After taking the shot, I then inserted the camera's memory card into 'Apple mac' and imported the picture into photoshop.
I then used the
'Magnetic Tool' to cut the person out.
After cutting the person out I then imported them into the poster. Using the
'Move Tool'.

8.)
After importing the image I added aviators (glasses) on the person.
These were the glasses I used for the person.
I searched the internet to find a suitable and use able image.
I then used the
'Magnetic Tool' to cut the glasses out.
After cutting the glasses out I then imported them into the poster. Using the
'Move Tool'.

'Magnetic Tool' to cut the person out.
After cutting the person out I then imported them into the poster. Using the
'Move Tool'.

Using the
'Move Tool'.
And replaced the roll paper with the image I cut out.

11.)
I then added a light touch of red to the eyes of the person for a look of effect. I used the
'Brush tool' to make the eyes red.
I then increased the size of the font and changed the colour.
I increased the size by using the Transform tool on the edit menu.
And changed the colour of the font, I changed 'active' to black instead of red to make it stand out more.

DVD sleeve design
This is my design for the
DVD Sleeve for
Psychoactive.
Front Cover
1.)
I first set the size of the image for the cover using the measurements I took from a manufactured DVD sleeve.
- Width: 13cm
- Height: 18.4cm
This is the texture I used to have as the background of the cover.
I searched the internet to find this image.
_________________________________________________________________________________
2.)
I then add the signature title of the film to the front cover.
_________________________________________________________________________________
3.)
Once I added the title of the film onto the cover, I then added a featured design.
I used the 'Rectangular Marquee Tool'
I also used the
'Paint Bucket Tool" to give a featured effect. By using the paint bucket tool on the sand background it allowed me to get a gritty tone to the background.
I used it for the top of the frame and near enough the bottom of the frame.
'Paint Bucket Tool'
I used the colors
White and
Black

Stroke style,
Outer Glow style and the
Drop Shadow style to create this look.
_________________________________________________________________________________

Once I had the image into a good place I then started editing the look of the gun including; shadows.
I used the

_________________________________________________________________________________
11.)
After adding the gun I then moved onto adding a stack of U.S Dollar's to the cover, after all the film is set in America.
